Currently the General Manager at Rosseau Bay Marina, Chris brings a wealth of experience from across several industries, including marine services, manufacturing, and construction. With a knack for driving growth and delivering results, he’s skilled in strategic planning, customer relationships, product innovation, financial oversight, and team leadership.

Chris’s hands-on expertise also extends to AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital marketing, allowing him to approach challenges with a creative and tech-savvy mindset. He’s passionate about finding innovative solutions that lead to sustainable growth and operational excellence, always striving to improve the customer experience at Rosseau Bay Marina.

His love for the water and the boating community fuels his work, making him a valuable leader who is dedicated to making the marina the best it can be. Whether it’s streamlining operations or developing new ways to enhance services, Chris is all about delivering top-notch results.

With over 30 years of dedicated service, Michele Kelly has been an integral part of the Marina’s journey, witnessing its evolution into what is now Rosseau Bay Marine. As a Seasonal Service Writer, Retail Store Supervisor, and Health & Safety Representative, Michele brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a deep-rooted commitment to customer care.

Her focus has always been on delivering exceptional service, and she takes great pride in maintaining strong relationships with customers—many of whom have become lifelong friends. Michele is proud to continue the tradition of excellence as a valued member of the R.B.M. team and looks forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and welcoming new ones each season.

Jacob Mullen was born and raised in Rosseau and has spent his entire life immersed in the natural beauty of the area. An avid outdoorsman, Jake can often be found fishing on the lake or exploring the woods in his free time—his deep connection to the region shows in everything he does.

With over 13 years of experience at the marina, Jake currently serves as the Marine Service & Yard Operations Manager. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. He is forklift certified and brings expert-level knowledge to all aspects of marine operations, including dock and boat lift installation, equipment maintenance, and yard logistics.

Jake takes great pride in ensuring customers’ boats are running smoothly and safely so they can make the most of their time on the water. His hands-on approach and commitment to quality make him a trusted and valued member of the team.


Brian Rivers

MARINE ENGINE TECHNICIAN

Brian Rivers, Marine Engine Technician, was born and raised in Parry Sound, Ontario, where he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their five children. Whether it’s gardening, camping, boating, or flying his drone for aerial photography, Brian thrives in nature. Growing up in his father’s small engine shop, he developed an early fascination with engines, which led to a lifelong passion for understanding how things work.

With over 13 years in the marine industry, Brian has spent the last 12 years at Muskoka Lakes Marine, now known as Rosseau Bay Marine, gaining a wealth of experience along the way. He graduated from Georgian College as a certified marine technician in 2020 and also completed additional ABYC courses in Marine Electrical and Marine Systems. His broad skill set includes engine repairs, boat deliveries, winterizing, and troubleshooting marine systems.

Brian takes pride in the wide range of tasks he’s handled, from engine rebuilds to test drives, and the trust he’s built with both customers and colleagues. His work reflects a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to providing top-notch service on and off the water.

Michael Smith, originally from London, Ontario, now lives just a kilometre from his childhood home with his wife, Diane. After a career in construction that took him across North America, he and Diane spend their free time at their cottage on Lake Rosseau, just a stone's throw from Rosseau Bay Marina. Michael still loves to stay active, enjoying waterskiing, windsurfing, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, though he admits it gets harder to keep up with his younger self at 65!

With almost a decade of ownership and marine experience, Michael became the owner of Rosseau Bay Marina (RBM) in 2016, marking a new chapter in his life. His passion for boats and marinas runs deep, having been around them most of his life. Michael’s background in construction, where he focused on client relations, has been a major asset at the marina. His dedication to offering great customer service has helped RBM build a reputation for creating memorable experiences for everyone who visits.

One of Michael’s proudest accomplishments is the complete redevelopment of the marina and its restaurant, making it a top destination on Lake Rosseau. With the help of his skilled team, led by GM Chris Ivanov, Michael continues to push for new ideas to make the marina even better, always striving to offer top-notch service and an ever-growing list of offerings to keep guests coming back.

DAVE LAMB - MARINE TECHNICIAN LEAD HAND

Dave Lamb, Marine Technician Lead Hand, was born and raised on the outskirts of Huntsville, where his passion for the outdoors and mechanical systems took root at an early age. An avid outdoorsman, Dave enjoys hunting, fishing, and racing vintage motocross and enduro in his free time—activities that reflect his hands-on, high-performance mindset.

Dave began working full-time in the marine industry in 2006 and became a licensed Marine Engine Technician in 2010. Over the years, he has completed several factory training courses with both Yamaha and Rotax, building a solid foundation of technical knowledge and practical experience. He has worked exclusively in dealership environments throughout his career, gaining a reputation for reliability, precision, and a deep understanding of all types of marine engines and watercraft.

As Lead Hand, Dave plays a key role in both diagnostics and repair, while also mentoring team members and upholding a high standard of workmanship. He takes great pride in delivering quality service and ensuring that every watercraft leaving the shop performs at its best, providing customers with a smooth and dependable experience on the water.

DELAINE CROCKER – ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Delaine Crocker is an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in retail operations and financial management. Originally from Toronto, she brings over 15 years of experience as a retail area manager, where she developed a solid foundation in business operations and leadership.

In 2011, Delaine relocated with her family to Muskoka, embracing a rural lifestyle and a closer connection to nature. In 2015, she earned her bookkeeping certification, marking a transition into the accounting field, where she has since built a successful career.

Since 2021, Delaine has served as the bookkeeper at Rosseau Bay Marine. In this role, she has contributed to the company's financial stability and operational growth. She has played an active part in supporting the property's transformation and the enhancement of its retail offerings. Delaine takes pride in contributing to initiatives she believes will positively impact the local community's long-term development.


Connor brings years of customer service, retail, and marine industry experience to his role at Rosseau Bay Marine. As our Parts Desk and Retail Store Associate, he helps customers find the right parts, accessories, and products to keep their boats in top condition while ensuring a smooth and friendly experience at the counter.

Before joining our team, Connor gained valuable experience in both retail and marine operations. He has worked in roles ranging from sales and technical support to detailing and managing a fuelling location, where he oversaw day-to-day operations, coordinated staff, and provided excellent service to customers.

With his combined background in retail, technical service, and marine operations, Connor is dedicated to making sure our customers receive knowledgeable support and reliable solutions—whether they’re picking up a part or looking for advice on their boating needs.
